Our service offerings and pricing structures are designed to suit your specific needs and budgets.  Our goal is to take the stress out of your home building project, so we’re here to work with you as your agent to make your dream home a reality.   • We help you define your dream home—room by room, detail by detail.

  • We consult with you about property selection and siting. 


  • We research and present options for flooring, trim carpentry and mouldings, cabinetry, appliances and fixtures, landscaping, water treatment, solar panels, security systems, and much, much more.

  • We faithfully document your choices and their costs, to help you stay on budget. 


  • We assist with vendor and contractor selection, then work with your home-build team, ensuring that permit applications and other paperwork are properly handled.


  • We offer home staging referral services for properties built to sell.

  • We consult on special needs accommodations: elderly care, disabled household members, etc. 

  • We track delivery and installation of all materials, appliances, and fixtures needed for your home-build.

  • We conduct regular site visits, acting as your agent with your builder and contractors to help ensure that your budget and timeline are on track.

  • We help with space planning, including locations of electrical outlets, light fixtures, built-ins, etc.


  • We schedule any installations not coordinated by your builder. 

  • We coordinate your movers, interior designers, and furniture deliveries.

  • We consult about home organizing based on a thorough family needs analysis.

  • We recommend and coordinate home services vendors: housekeepers, water treatment services, landscaping experts, pest control companies, security monitoring firms, etc.

  • We assist in the development of and maintain a homeowner punch list for your builder.

  • We follow up on closing permits with your contractors, making sure you're left with no loose ends.

Starting with his very first home, when he was in his mid-twenties, Rami Dalal learned quickly that when you build a new home, you should build it for your specific needs and decorate it with your sense of style. When the time came to sell that house, Rami realized that a well-built, unique house with well thought-out decor commands a much higher price than the "market price". That's when his passion for creating beautiful homes started. Since then, Rami’s work in custom homes has also raised the bar for communities throughout the nation’s capital, consistently resulting in record-setting increases in community home values.

 

His success and love of managing custom home projects and renovations could no longer be contained and fulfilled with personal home projects. When his friends and family would question his very frequent moves, he explained that when you're good at what you love to do, it is not stressful -- it is fun. He is excited to now share that skill and passion with his clients through his innovative Home-Build Concierge services. 

 

Rami Dalal’s home designs and residential projects have won awards and recognition around the United States, mostly in the Washington, DC area as well as South Florida, where he won the prestigious City of Fort Lauderdale Community Appearance Award for his residential design work.  The Community Appearance Board Award was presented each year to encourage aesthetic awareness and to acknowledge individuals and organizations who are working to enhance, improve and beautify the Fort Lauderdale community.

Jacquelyn Scott


Broker-Associate, GRI Remax First South Florida Jacquelyn Scott is a licensed professional real estate broker with over 35 years of sales experience. She has lived in Fort Lauderdale for over 55 years and is delighted to share her vast knowledge of the area with you. Jacquelyn was born in Michigan and moved to Ft. Lauderdale as a child. She began her working career as a registered nurse and transitioned into medical equipment sales for 18 years. A Realtor since 1998 and a Broker since 2000, Jacquelyn is well known for her professionalism, knowledge and ability to get the job done. She can provide helpful detailed information about housing options, schools and other activities that each community in the area offers. Chris Handy


Associate Broker, GRI Washington, DC Metro A native of Montgomery County, Maryland, Chris spent much of his youth in the Gaithersburg, Darnestown, North Potomac area. After studying pre-law at the University Of Maryland, Chris and a partner began an internet based marketing company in 1999. In 2001, after selling his marketing company, Chris joined the Bethesda Chevy Chase office of Long & Foster Real Estate Inc. as a Realtor. Chris wanted to put his knowledge of marketing and business to good use in the Real Estate market. Chris' long hours, hard work and innovative marketing approach quickly paid off. Within just three years Chris Handy was the Top Producing agent of that office. In 2004, Chris was offered an opportunity to join the newly formed Long and Foster Fallsgrove sales office in Rockville as an associate broker. During his time with the Fallsgrove office, Chris formed the Chris Handy Group real estate team. Chris was the Top Producing agent in both number of homes sold and dollar volume of homes sold, from the day the Rockville office opened, until his departure in late 2009. Sandra von Kampen


Designer Sandra von Kampen began her career with a Bachelor Degree in Interior Design from Marymount University in 1992, and completed her NCIDQ Certification in 2005. After spending eight years as a mural and faux finish artist, she returned to work in interior design. During her entire career, her specialty has been the design of luxury condominium model homes and private condominium residences throughout Washington DC and the surrounding Metropolitan Areas . Sandra's projects have included work on prestigious residences in buildings such as The Residences at Ritz-Carlton, The Residences at Waterview, Yale Lofts, The National Harbor, Ten Ten Mass, The Jamieson Residences, etc.

As if being minutes from the beach and the stylish Las Olas Boulevard in the Florida sun isn't enough, try adding the southern plantation style architecture, stunning finishes, and a lifestyle of luxurious relaxation and ease. That's what we delivered in this new home completion. The finished product raised the bar for the housing values in the Victoria Park neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale.  

 

Our work was recognized by the City of Fort Lauderdale in 2004 with the Community Appearance Award in recognition of outstanding achievement for urban environmental design.

Can I afford your services?


The question is, can you afford to build a custom home without us? Consider the time and money lost in meetings, hassles, re-dos, and unfair pricing by vendors taking advantage of the fact that you’re not an expert in home-building. Our services often cost less than those hidden expenses. We offer flexible pricing structures based on your needs. Working on a monthly retainer, we allow you to rollover any unused time to the next month, so you never pay for unexpected delays.




Do you have to be wealthy to build a custom home?


No! Believe it or not, custom homes can actually cost less than production-built homes. When you build a house yourself, you pay only and exactly for what you want. With a production-build, your floor-plan and feature options are limited. You may end up paying for rooms you don’t need while sacrificing style or finishes you want because they’re not available. Building exactly what you want ensures every dollar in your budget is well spent.




Can you represent me in a dispute?


We do not offer legal or arbitration services. However, when we act as your representative with your home-build team, disputes are far less likely to arise. This is because we keep clear and thorough documentation of your selections and specifications. If an issue does arise with your contractor or builder, we work to resolve it quickly so your project can proceed as planned, on time and in budget.




Are your services only available for new construction custom homes?


While we mostly provide Home-Build Concierge services for new custom homes, we also work with clients who are looking to add on to an existing property, renovate, or buy from a production builder. We can custom tailor our services to meet your needs. That’s what we mean when we say, “Your home, your way!”




What if I’ve already started building a home? Can I engage your services now?


Certainly! Though we prefer to get involved during the planning stage of your project, we can add a great deal of value both during and after construction: recommending vendors, managing your team, keeping your project within regulations, and much more. It’s never too late to request help, and always our pleasure to provide it.
